Hong Kong Island Hotels - Far From Central

Jump to last reply

In 2012 we visited the Marriott Courtyard for a 4 days stopover in Hong Kong. We had a Harbour View corner suite and consider that it was great value. While the Club Lounge was a little dark and depressing, over all we had a good stay and particularly enjoyed walking the area betrween there and Central. It was also a good location to take a walking trip down from the Peak. We are planning another stopover in Hong Kong for four days enroute to Europe. Again we are looking for something different and away from Central. I noticed that there are a few hotels around Kennedy Town/Telegraph Bay area. Alternatively we might try Bishop Lei's or another alternative up in the mid-levels. If all else fails there is always the marriott Courtyard. Any advice would be greatly appreciated particularly given that a few new places have appeared since we were last there. Thank you.
