In Hong Kong for 3 days in June 2011. Ideally, the hotel should be centrally located (for tourists) and affordable i.e Twin room for less than £100 per night if possible.
What things/sights shouldn't we miss in our short stay?
I need to take the train from HK to Shanghai? Is this easy? Should we book in advance?
Is the central railway station easy to get to?
Thanks

You should get a guidebook and map for Hong Kong. And there are tonnes of threads on this forum about hotels and things to see in Hong Kong.
A public discussion forum like this is generally NOT the place to ask very general and preliminary questions. You should do some homework first, and then the regulars will be very happy to answer more specific questions for you. But it is not a place where people will plan your trip.
For the direct train between Hong Kong and Shanghai, here's the schedule:
http://www.it3.mtr.com.hk/B2C/frmScheduleBeijing.asp?strLang=Eng
Note that this train runs every other day. For June 11, it only departs Hong Kong (Hung Hom) on even-days. You can get ticket while in HK at the MTR's ticket counters or at China Travel Service outlets.
