Hong Kong hotel question - Langham v.Sheraton

Jump to last reply

I have read dozens of posts about Hong Kong hotels and I am unable to make a decision. We only have 2 nights in Hong Kong at the end of August. We would like to have a pool and I would like to keep the cost under $250 (US). I have priced many of the hotels mentioned in posts here and the best I can find is a harbor view room at the Sheraton for about $250. The alternative would be the Langham (not Langham Place) which has a summer special of HK$1495 per night. I know the Langham does not have a view and the pool is small but is it a much nicer hotel with a better location? (Tripadvisor ranks the Langham at 11 or 12 and the Sheraton as 30). If so, I think I would pass on the view or are they about equal? All advice appreciated - these are the last two nights of our trip.
Thanks
