Hong Kong for 2 days - advice??
I just found out I'm going to Singapore for a week next week, and will have a 2 day stopover in Hong Kong on the way home. I'm a single woman in my mid 40s, love being central, happy to walk. Any central hotel recommendations around $200 Cdn? Any other advice, including favourite restaurants would be so appreciated!

I like (as single female traveller) staying on Kowloon side. My current favorite hotel is Marco Polo. There are 3 of them, right in a row, connected to a big mall. Anyone of them would be good. Location is excellent, right by the ferry boat landing (to go to HK Island).

I arrive in Hong Kong at noon Sunday, March 25 and leave for home on the 27. I've checked out hotels, but wasn't sure the best spot to stay. Am thinking Kowloon too Simpsonc510! Thanks!

Checking asiahotels.com and Expedia, I'd choose from one of these within your budget:
Eaton Smart, Novotel and Regal Kowloon - in Kowloon
Rosedale, L'Hotel Causeway Bay, and Metropark - all near Causeway Bay
For a little more (~$220), LKF Rhombus in Central. Or Royal Plaza in Mong Kok. Or a couple of the "Butterfly" boutique hotels.
