Cicerone may have more ideas, but check out the fabric stores at the Western Market. [MTR: Sheung Wan]
They saw in the sewing circle that Sham Shui Po area is full of these shops? isnt that a bit far?
Sham Shui PO is right on the MTR, easy enough to reach - any place accessible by MTR in HK is not far. Off the top of my head I'd say Bangkok or India have better silks fabrics then HK and Beijing. In Bangkok, other then Jim Thompson, Almeta Silks and a couple of stores in Gaysorn.
Ok thanks
"Full of these shops"? Well, you may want to ask carefully the addresses. I don't think you'll find many retail places in Sham Shui Po, though they may be located upstairs in various buildings, doing mostly wholesale, but also sell to some individuals.
