Sorry, I've never heard of them. But there are 100s of tailors in Bangkok. Do you have more info about this tailor? Where is the shop located?

Oooops! Wrong place.

Just talked to my friend and it's:

EMPIRE TAILORS on Sukhumvit Road.

Any comments, have you used them?

You got this recommendation from a friend. Did the friend use them? How satisfied were they with the clothing?

What kind of clothing did the friend have made? e.g., suits, dresses, men's shirts? And is that the kind of clothing you want to have made?

Didn't make myself clear------a friend (man) will be there in about 2 weeks & wanted to have some suits made.
He emailed a few sites & liked the Empire site.
I said I'd ask on Fodor's if anyone had used them before, and were they satisfied.

Ah, I see. Has your friend ever had clothing custom-made? If not, he needs to know that he should be prepared to make every decision about the suits, so should know exactly what he wants when he gets there. Also, the best predictor of someone's satisfaction with custom-made clothing is how many fittings they have. For a suit, not fewer than three fittings is recommended. So your friend needs to have enough time in Bangkok for multiple fittings.

Good luck to him.
