Help, planning a last minute trip to Asia!

Jump to last reply

Just recently decided that my brother and myself would travel to Asia. We will be travelling to Japan, singapore and Malaysia and thailand, in that order. We will be travelling through these 4 countries during may 24th-June 9th.
Just want to know if people have any advice as to what exactly we should see, ie. specific cities or areas of major interest. japan is covered as i have a friend who lives there and will take us around.
Also if anyone can recommend any hostels they may have stayed at that were good?

I also have a week prior to may 24th to incorporate another location into my trip before japan. However im goin on that one on my own. Just want to know if anyone has any ideas as to where would be a good place for someone to fly solo?? doesnt even have to be in Asia..but preferably en going east bound from toronto is more expensive than travelling west bound.

thanks in advance to anyone who replys. Any information is greatly appreciated! =)
