My best tip crack open a guidebook or 5 and do some research.
bootnall.com virtualtourist.com hospitality club.org

most folks on budget fly into BKK or KUL then airasia.com

alana, start by getting yourself some good guidebooks and decide what are the most important things you want to do/see/experience.
You've listed five Asian countries then you say you are going to spend most of your 6 months in Australia and New Zealand. Recognize that you'll need to edit your destinations so you can get a real flavor of the places rather than just moving from airport to airport.
Once you have an idea of where you want to go, come back and ask questions about specific destinations or logistics. When you post a question, choose a title that lets people know what you are asking about. You'll get far more responses and more useful reposnses to a question with a clear title than you will to a post with a title like "Help"choose a title that lets people know what you are asking about. it would work better if you gave us more specific questions, revealed your daily budget, etc
