Has anyone used Viator.com to book tours?

Hey Guys
I found this site: www.viator.com through a link on Asiarooms.com when I was booking my hotels for my trip to Asia in August. Seems like an interesting site to book some cool activities/tours. I was wondering if any of you fellow travelers have used this site?

Yes, I've used them several times. I'm often in places on business, with only a little time to spare, so it's good to be able to arrange side-trips in advance, even though they're the same trips you can usually get through your hotel.

Sometimes, the cost through Viator is more than you'll pay to book locally, but for me the convenience outweighs the added cost.

I just booked some tours with them for a Sept trip to Turkey. I like being able to see what was available before getting to the hotels. I am also booking some tours with GTA. Viator gives FF miles but GTA lets your cancel after booking. OctopusTravel also has tours.

I've used them to book some tours in Europe. Not had any problems.

I have used Viator several times in Australia, USA, Russia, and Turkey. Each time the tour operators were prompt and confirmed my reservations at least 24 hours in advance. I really like the depth of Viator's offering. When I travel I don't want every day planned out but with Viator I can book tours and adventure activities to fill in a few days and gain a memorable experience on my trips that otherwise may not have happened. My favorite Viator purchases have been the behind the scenes tour at the Sydney Opera House, Wine Tasting in the Hunter Valley, Sunrise at Haleakala on Maui, and a private Bosphorus River tour in Istanbul. Viator also offers frequent flyer miles which for me is a huge benefit.

We were impressed with them. We book a tour in Paris that ended up being canceled due to a medical ER. I e-mailed them and I actually got a 50% refund (rest refunded by travel insurance) even though the ticket said "non-refundable." We would try them again.
