Happy Birthday Nov 7 fodorites!
I know I share this birthday with folks on the Asia forums. Happy Birthday to BillT and Kathie (do I have that right?)... anyone else? I'm spending my birthday in Chicago... well, actually way out on the west end of the city proper. Had a nice Italian dinner last night with friends who are visiting from Germany. Tonight will probably be Mexican food at On The Border. Anyway, Happy Birthday!!

so strange! I haven't been on here in awhile but today is my b'day too...AND I'm also planning a trip to Burma next month!!! Very excited to hear about your trip, Kathie. I'm going to read through some of the other Burma/Myanmar posts now.

A popular birth date indeed. The grown son of our very good friends from Germany, with whom we shared my own birthday dinner last night, is also today.
