We have two days in Yangshuo and hope to get to Xingping market , cruise on the river , visit Moon Hill etc. Can anyone recommend either a guide or tour agent from whom we can prebook these trips. We want to travel by van , car or taxi as well as boat but not by bike !
Has anyone had experience of Guilin Private tours , and would they recommend them.

we just did four days in the region in April...did Guilin, Yanshuo and the terraced rice fields...do not miss the famed Sanjie night/light show on the river in Yangshuo...incredible.
We used Jade Leo and his "gang" and they were great...punctual, knowledgeable, unobtrusive and a lot of fun.. Suggest you write

I had a great tour guide in Yangshuo that I would highly recommend. Her name is Lilly and she can be reached at lulilly12@hotmail.com.
She has lived in Yangshuo all of her life so is very knowledgeable of the area, spoke excellent English and was reasonably priced. I also like the fact that she was very flexible and tailored my excursions based on my interest. You'll have a great time!
Thank you both for the detailed information. i have mailed both guides and hope to have our days in Yangshuo sorted soon. I also loved the pictures and am really looking forward to our visit.
