I would recommend two places. Solmar Restaurante which is located within Macau's city center. Very comfortable and air-conditioned. Alternatively you can go over to Fernando's at Hac Sa Beach on the Coloane side. No decor but great eats! (Also, it opens from 12 noon).
Try the curry dishes or African chicken!
