Goa weekend Itinerary help
I am in Ahmedabad for business and anticipate I will need a break in about two weeks. I am thinking about going to Goa for a three day weekend and would like some suggestions on what to do within this timeframe. In general, I am looking to chill out and I dont want to be too extravagant. I think I could check out a couple of local sites, enjoy the local food and beaches and that would be sufficient. Hopefully there is a place that has a nightlife too.

You may enjoy Goa in style. For nightlife check out The Adega at Cedade De Goa. It has music, dance, three pool tables & a bustling casino. Tito's at Baga is very popular with back-packers. Avloc at Colva is south Goa's disco of choice.
For eating out try Goa’s first Cigar bar & a garden café at the ‘Aubergine’, at Arpora, in an old goanese house; A Lua Restaurant in Merces serve up the best crab & fish specialties.
Enjoy Yourself!

Where in Goa are you staying? If you're interested in nightlife, then the beaches in the north would be a better location to stay at than the south.
Wendell Rodrick's Aubergine and Tito's are good. For authentic goan food, check out Martin's Corner in Bethalbatim, although its quite a drive if you're located in the north. For nightlife - check out club cabana.

Thanks. Your response makes me feel like this is exactly what Im looking for.
I have a recommendation for casadegoa which is near Tito's or I can get cheaper accomodations 15 minutes drive away at a guest house. Do you have any recommendations?

If you're talking about Casa de Goa, thats on Calangute beach, I think. Location-wise, its alright, lots to do in that area, although Calangute beach itself is a bit over-crowded. What's your budget like? There are tons of guesthouses in that area, and I don't think it will be much of a problem finding accomodation at this time of the year. In fact, the heat is really starting to build up at the moment - when is your trip?

Im staying in India until the end of March so I can go any weekend between now and then. I was going to go for just three days. I was trying to keep my budget down since I am travelling alone and really dont need alot of extras.
