Hello, will be staying for 5 nights at Ariyasomvilla. I have some concerns about getting there from the airport. Our flight arrives at 11.35 pm (if all goes well). I have read some reviews about difficulty finding this hotel and am a little worried about doing so at midnight or later. Wondering if we should stay at the airport that night and move on to the hotel the next day. Anyone been there and have any input? Thank you.
Also wondering where to spend the initial 2 days we have before moving to Koh Lak for 5 nights. Would like to see Railay Beach but am concerned about travel time to Koh Lak. We could fly to Krabi or Phuket from our stay in Bangkok. Any thoughts? Thank you.

i had to google where you wanted to go... i thought it was a place not a hotel..
it is near to the hospital so should be easy to find by taxi... i would ask them to send you directions to give a taxi or better still i would have a "limo" take me there...
AAC limo is very accomodating...
i have often arrived at that time and never had trouble getting to a bkk hotel.. you could ask the hotel to send a car for you also
We just returned from Bangkok and met friends at this hotel for dinner. It of down one of the Soi's and dead ends at the hotel. I think the best suggestion is to get the directions from the hotel or at least something written in Thai as so many of the cab drivers do not speack English. Also if you do take a taxi agree on a price ahead of time or insist on the meter. The hotel is quaint and charming and the dineer we had was wonderful. Enjoy
It shouldn't be hard to find and according to the hotel's web site it's down at the end of Sukhumvit Soi 1. This Soi is located very near to the entrance/exit of the expressway and the Soi is also the back entrance to Bumrungrad hospital. Ask the hotel to send you an email in Thai with the address and map.
Well, of course! Why didn't I think of that? Thanks for your help. Will ask the hotel for taxi imstructions in Thai.
