Hi,
I am doing the Everest Base Camp and the Annapurna Sanctuary treks this October/November. Can anyone clarify what fees I will have to pay.? I found info that no trekking permits are required for these regions any more. On the other hand I have heard about national park fees and conservation area fees. How much are these fees and where do I have to pay them? Any more precise information will be greatly appreciated.
thanks & regards,
irina

Hi Irina,

I did the EBC trek in 2000 and could note tell you about the fees because our trekking agency took care of all of that for us.
Are you doing this without a trekking guide?
If so, maybe you could call one of them (we used REI Adventures) and ask what fees are required.....posing as a potential customer of course
Good luck and take lots of film handwipes.
