Emirates to launch Non-Stop JFK-Dubai
Good nes for all East Coast travelllers heading to
They start JFK-Dubai non-stops from April 2004 and on their new Airbus 340-500's they have a world's first. The ceiling lighting is a technological innovation that will change according to the light outside, and during the night the ceilings will project a 'night sky' ( serious!) with stars etc overhead , this is the result of trying to find ways to aleviate jet-lag, should be quite something!
They start using this type of plane next month non-stop Dubai-Sydney. They have a large number of daily service ( all wide body, all PTV's etc )
From April next you can jump on Emirates to Dubai and then connect with their massive route network to India/Maldives/Sri Lanka, South East Asia, Far East and Australia, plus they have daily services to East Africa, plus frequent to Seychelles, Mauritius etc..

Sounds great and they are a great airline,, but wait till Singapore airlines get delivery of their new airbus. They promise it will be the experience of a lifetime. They are still the worlds no1 airline to fly with
