Craig and Jeane's 2012 Bhutan Photos are Up

I've tried to post this twice but there must be something on this site that automatically deletes links to websites, so I'm going to "trick" it by doing a 2nd post with the link. Hope this works.

Great photos! Your skies were clearer than when we were there. You got some great mountain with snow views. The children of Bhutan are beautiful.

I really enjoyed looking at your pictures, Craig. The colors are gorgeous and the scenery is amazing. Nice closeups of the butterfly and the little girls, too.

Incredible photos! I was going to ask what kind of camera you used, but I can already tell I'm too much of an amateur. We took a similar trip in 2010 and I tried to capture the majesty of the Tiger's Next along with the magic of Bhutan, but was unable. So thanks for sharing your photos -- you captured both.

Wow - love the embroidering hands, the procession, the rice fields, the girls and the chiles. Well done!

Always nice to have a look at your photos. Very interesting! One 'downtown' scene looks quite modern, and the next is a step back in time!! Thanks, as always, for letting us have a look.

These are beautiful photographs! I very much enjoyed seeing them! I like the bridge with the prayer flags and the nunnery and the monastery that are hanging on the sides of cliffs.

I also like the format of smugmug and will look into it, as I'd love to be able to share my photos too. Is it easy to use?

I like the format too. The site also offers other format options. I find SmugMug very easy to use (much easier than Facebook, for example). I download my photos directly from Apple's iPhoto program and then add captions. It is also very easy to add, delete or rearrange photos. The one downside (if you want to call it that) is the cost: $40/year.

Thanks, Craig! I'll be checking on that - $40 a year isn't very much. Glad you had a good time - I enjoyed your trip report a lot too!

Thanks for sharing again...The costumes at the festivles are fabulous. So much color, texture and I am sure meaning to each part of the costumes. The mountains are breath taking. Some how I don't see Bob treking up thoses hills, so thanks for taking us along. Great report also.
