Complex Travel Group - Doable? Safe?

Hello all,

We are contemplating a SEA trip of Chiang Mai, Bangkok, Penang/Georgetown, Singapore, and Jakarta in April '15. I have been blessed to travel extensively and want to share that with my family. I have lived in Singapore and India and traveled extensively in China and Japan so am comfortable with big city / developed Asian areas. However, on this trip, we would have my husband, my son (13) who is disabled and uses a walker/wheelchair, my mother and my daughter (11). My husband and son would be with us for Chiang Mai and Bangkok but then return to the States. My mom, daughter and I would continue to Penang/Georgetown, Singapore and Jakarta. We aren't big city people so we would see Singapore /Jakarta a bit but then take side trips. My concerns are many but what is really freaking me out is my daughter. She is a stunning, 11 year old blond with blue eyes who is starting puberty. When we traveled through China in 2012, my daughter was flash mobbed constantly. When I lived in Singapore, my blond/blue eyed female friend was constantly followed and touched. Now that my daughter is older and physically developing, I am concerned that going to places known for sex trafficking and prostitution wouldn't be smart, even though we are conservative in dress, speech and mannerisms. I know that I am being a paranoid, overprotective mother. Thoughts?
