We have reservations for late May 2011 to stay in the Sheraton Tower. I'm checking to see if it still has a beautiful view of the harbor and city since there's a building under construction next to it.
If the view is gone, where do you recommend? Thanks!

The New World Center in front of the Sheraton is being demolished, and is under scaffold right now; but that's about it. Should pretty much be the same in May.
Sorry, should add that there is also a crane on top of New World Center right now as well.
Thank you! In your opinion, should we choose a different hotel?
I don't see the scaffold and the crane in a building across the street to one side affecting your stay much at all.
Thank you...my question probably sounded silly. I've just heard the view of the harbor is spectacular and I envisioned a large crane outside my window obstructing my view of the harbor. I'm all about "the view"!
New World Center is the same height as the Sheraton. It already blocked that side of the view anyways. The crane will not make little difference of the view. If you're on the top floor of the Sheraton, and if they have taken out a floor or two of New World Center, your view may actually improve. But that's unlikely by May.
Was in TST today. You can see the Sheraton in dead center of this photo. New World Center in scaffold on right:

Thank you so much for the photos!
