Car rental suggestions for Bali

Does anyone have a recommendation for a car rental company for Bali this summer? I would prefer a rec from someone that has rented from the company. Thanks!!

I think I will wait until we get there and check out the driving situation and available car rentals.

I'd recommend getting a car and driver. It won't cost you any more than the car alone, and you'll have someone who know where to go. Signage on the roads in Bali is quite poor.

Second Kathie's suggestion to hire private car with driver. And it's very very simple and easy to arrange when you have already arrived in Bali and can meet the driver and see his car. He will also be able to help you organize day trips. Parking can be problematic in many places in Bali, so having a driver can be really helpful, and they can watch your stuff and so forth as well. Lots of good reasons to hire driver, and it's not that much more expensive.

Also, if you are mostly in the south, the metered Blue Bird taxis are plentiful and very good.
