Budget Luxury Minimoon in August 2015

Jump to last reply

Ok, so basically we have about a $3000 budget for our honeymoon.

Being on the west coast, that kind of cuts our "budget holidays" down because most packages leave from the east coast, and the really good deals are from east to the destination, and for us to then book another flight to the east coast to get the connecting would end up costing a lot( more than it should just to fly across the country, about 700-1200 each depending on when you try to fly).

We don't really want to be anywhere too humid, so majority of Asia is out, but it seems like that's really the only place we can afford.

Does anyone know of any places that are a little secluded and not too humid for a honeymoon that might be at least close to our budget?

We would really like to go somewhere cold, or maybe America, but going to America would see all our budget spent just on flights.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
