Hi all, I want to travel to either the US or Europe from anywhere in Asia in July. It's only for a short time, so I'm weighing up whether it is worth it financially. I'm hoping to find a budget flight to either destination. Anyone know a budget airline???

Currently, there are no budget airlines flying outside the region. Air Asia X just started flights to Australia, but that's as far as you can go on a budget airline.
Asia is a big place. Where are you? Somewhere in Southeast Asia? China?
Anyways, while there are no budget airlines (after Oasis shut down), that doesn't mean you can't get good fares. Especially to Europe, on airlines like Qatar, Gulf, Etihad or even Emirates; with a connection in the Gulf.
All of these serve many destinations in Asia, with Bangkok in particular having lots of flights
It really depends on where in Europe and where in Asia you want to fly. I've seen some airlines like Austrian Air, Finair, Air France/KLM offering promotional fares. You may also want to bear in mind that the fare goes up substantially after 15 July.
not a budget airline but EVA air are fantastic value for money
