plans have finally been made for our 2009 GTG....this time we will mix urban with suburban venues......the actual GTG will be in Newton, MA and other venues will be more urban in nature....
friday nite, Oct 9, we will gather at Punjab Restaurant at 7PM. the restaurant is located at 473 Massachusetts Avenue in Arlington, MA. this is at the junction of rt 60 and mass ave... there is plenty of parking beside and in back of the restaurant in free public lots...
andy, beth, karen and i eat here frequently and the food is fabulous!!!
as with all our venues we will require cash for payment...no credit cards....drinks will be kept seperate of the food bills.....
the main part of our weekend will be the GTG itself held in the BOKX 109 american prime restaurant within the Indigo Hotel, 399 Grove Street, Newton, MA.... there is plenty of free parking under the hotel. the hotel is located at the junction of grove street and rte 128 (95), just south of the intersection with the mass pike (rte 90)... grove street has its own exit.... the hotel is adjacent to the riverside station terminus of the MBTA (green line)... as before we will gather about 11AM for chat with luncheon served about 1PM....karen has worked out a simple buffet lucheon which we hope will be well received and tolerated by all (soup, chicken caesar salad, pasta dish, dessert, coffee and tea served with dessert).... cash bar.... there will be plenty of room to mingle and converse prior to lunch.....the lunch cost will be about $30 inclusive.... cash only...
the hotel has rooms available (expensive), but as in the past i think we will use a summerfield suites (hyatt) for our hqtrs---the waltham summerfield... similar rates to burlington.... other hotels in the area are: newton marriott; sheraton needham; westin waltham; courtyard waltham; wyndham waltham; residence inn dedham and norwood; sheraton newton (not good hotel); and all the boston and cambridge hotels (sonesta, le meridien, res inn, marriott, inn at harvard, charles hotel, wyndham suites, hyatt to name a few)...
saturday (10-10) nite will be GPANDA nite......relax, no speedos allowed.... we will return at 7PM again to the similan restaurant 145 first street in cambridge, MA.... this is some of the best thai food outside of thailand..... this will be a time for fun and laughter....we will eat family style as in the past and will also split the bill accordingly.....cash bar.....
if there is interest we will host or arrange a sunday brunch/breakfast.....
please indicate your interest here, with a return email address, or on my fodors e address: rhkonthailand@msn.com
looking forward to seeing everyone again and i have already heard from some newbies who will plan to attend....
we had a fabulous time last month at the LA GTG and we don't want boston to be out shown by them.....
we hope to put pressure on fodors to send katie to our GTG.... she is fun and interesting and i think everyone would love meeting her....
bob and andy (karen and beth)

ok robert, no need to pout. i'm interested, but can't go, but interested. give me all the details of what i'm going to miss.
I will check my calendar and see if I'm available. I'll get the suburban visa when It seems unavoidable. Go Similans.
will maybe attend some of the seminars/whatever, though harboring concerns about event creep.
is the indigo hotel actually indigo?
hey, if any of you cheapskates are miauing about the $30, shut up and pay up. You're forking out the cash for the hotel meeting space and the questionable company, not the food. Which will probably stink, but so what. i was always creeped out by the place in cambridge, because you had all those weirdly idiot-savant MIT people wandering the streets. They could explain quantum physics without batting an eye, but had no clue where the Hotel@MIT/Meridien was when they were half a block away.
speaking of confused, how's it going, Bob. the indigo isn't terribly expensive on Fri/Sat nights, it's only during the week when it's a fortune. for those whose memories are better than mine, this hotel used to be the Holiday Inn. It's now (as it was then) part of the IC group, for you point-earners/spenders.
as i was born and reared in Newton, I should have some info about the neighborhood. Unfortunately, the hotel is in the Auburndale/Lower Falls area, mostly a goyishe section, so I'm not well informed. However, if you go over to Barry's Village Deli in Waban, about a mile or two up Beacon St, you can get an OK (but hardly great) corned beef sandwich.
I'm..uh...gee, I have something on Friday the 9th, what is it now? Oh, yeah, return engagement (by popular acclaim) at the renowned Dana Farber Cancer Institute! So I do believe I'll be there, Mr. Kimball, and I thank you once again for inviting hicks from the Midwest like myself to attend, even if Panda will be there, proclaiming that Cambridge is the center of the universe, etc., blah-blah-blah.
BC
You can count me in. My better half just accepted a pretty big job offer that will probably keep him in indentured servitude through the next year...so as of right now, I'm flying solo.

But I'll be there.
don---before it was a holiday inn it was a howard johnsons or some other billerica type hotel....karen and i had a tour a month ago and they have done wonders with the old place...
Bob, you know that Cheryl and I would love to come, but it is unclear whether we can make it. Right now we are so preoccupied with our remodeling that we haven't even made plans for our SE Asia trip yet! We have our tickets in and out of Bangkok, more arrangements yet to be made.
Both the Honolulu and Boston gtgs are on our radar.
Let's see, Bob has booked us at a former Holiday Inn/ Howard Johnsons. Can't wait. Will there be car hops? It's scary that Don is such an expert. Kathie, we hope you can come. Cambridge awaits you and Cheryl. Filmwill, not bringing that NC B-ball fan is a disappointment, but it will keep me from listening to his crowing.
Adventure car hop is the place to go
For food that's always right;
Adventure's food is always just so,
You'll relish every bite.
Out on Route One in Saugus,
Come dressed just as you are;
Adventure where the service is great,
And you never get out of your car
what are the dittys about newton?
Don-you always amaze me with the breadth of your "knowledge". The ditty was great. Did Adventure have car hops on roller skates?
No roller skates for the Adventure girls, sorry.
They were the major sponsor of the Arnie "Woo Woo" Ginsburg Night Train radio show on WMEX, 1510 on your radio dial. I believe Arnie went on to be a radio DJ in NYC for awhile, for any of you fellow geezers from Gotham.
Sorry, no Newton jingles. (Isaac, Isaac, he's our man; If he can't do it, no one can! ?)
We look forward to the GTG but just need to sort out October travel plans to China before knowing our availability.
How about a Newton L:imerick?
There once was a man of Gravity
Whose universe had no naivite.
But Einstein did find
Isaac was behind
And now he's Duke of depravity.
if lcuy goes i might join her.
Lcuy is always in attendance at the Boston GTG's. We expect her again, you too Nannabee.
Hi Gpanda:
I know lcuy's hard to keep up with!
I hear they have a great ball team in Boston. Should I wear my husband's STL cardinal jacket - just to stand out in a crowd of course.
I of course, will be coming for the food!
Mary Alice, where are you headed in China, or are you still working that out?
Bob, what is the name of the little restaurant in the strip mall behind your hotel? Something like Texas Sushi? I've never had a better steamed pork bun or Thai beef salad than there and would like to go back when we are in BKK this summer.
Don, My husband has work in Shanghai then, possibly Beijing as well, but the dates of his travel aren't firmed up -- he goes back and forth often enough that it isn't a priority to nail the Fall dates down-- and we haven't figured out yet whether I'd be able to use miles and make a trip at the same time. We hope, in any event, that we can both come to at least one Fodor's event.
Bob, we would love to come to the Boston GTG. Loved meeting everyone at the LA GTG.
We just found out that our daughter is expecting at about the same time in October. This, of course, puts our plans on hold for the time being. We will be monitoring all plans closely.
Boston GTG is definitely on our radar.
Magical-we hope that your grandchild will accomodate your schedule and we will see you in Boston. It was a pleasure to meet you last month.
I've got the next BOS GTG on my calendar (as well as the one in HNL). Hope to be there... no reservations as yet. Too early to think about exact dates.
I'm just home from Switzerland about 18 hours ago... jetlag has set in. I waved to Bob and Karen as we were passing each other somewhere over the north Atlantic yesterday, as they were flying to London.
Off to BKK in about 10 days. Brad is already there.
Carol
magical....we deliver babies at GTG's as well....so bring her along... we do keep gpanda away from new borns however....nothing like scaring a kid to death when they are not even 24 hours old...
man... i have no idea what you are talking about???
gpanda tells me that the saturday nite is all set for the GTG at similans, so it now seems that our line-up is complete
any interest?
we will be able to lower the cost of the GTG by ordering all our food from pork products... any suggestions
Bob, it sounds like you're suggesting a form of cannabalism and that GPanda would not be safe...
Of course you know I'm going to be there!
BC
Just checked with the Indain restaurant for Friday night, Punjab. They said they would be glad to have us. I did not mention Bob. He'll be a surprise.
Are you thinking that the curtained/tented area in the middle of the dining room would work well at Punjab or is there some other arrangement? I know that it is hard to speculate without actual numbers of attendees, but I am curious how you are thinking about it.
The Panda will be permitted into the parking lot at Punjab. The rest of us will have the run of the place.
BC
punjab is the best indian food we have ever had, even inside india
maryA-If there are enough people, the tented area would work fine. However, I'm guessing 15-20 people on friday night and that's too few to take over the whole area. We can always sit in the back towards the right. There's sort of an alcove that might fit our needs.
The worst part about Punjab is that Bob is likely to take charge and do the ordering. It's sort of a Sahib mentality. On a small scale, it's amusing. we'll see on a lerger scale.
Isn't there anyone in the Boston GTG crowd who's a Bar Mitzvah planner for his/her day job? That would help.
Today, I am a Panda...
Congratulations, Panda.
can you imagine a BM organized by gpanda.....crap table, poker parlor and take out food...
I've now got my ticket on UA! I'll see you guys in Oct in BOS.
Carol
who else has interest?? i need to start my list...
It'll be interesting to put a face to filmwill!
Haha. It sure will KW, it sure will.
I look forward to it!
I'd love to come!
Enough "frequent flyer points" for the trip but no dough!
BTW, KW, I'd love to bring you out on the town. A little dinner, a little dancing. You know, real bonding time. If you're flying all the way from Pattaya to Boston, you deserve something special.
the question is, can he tango??
FYI, in my beloved Cambridge, during the summer, they have one night per month on which they have tango lessons on a walking bridge spanning the mighty Charles River. Unfortunately, this does not last into October. FW and KW will have to make other plans.
In Cambridge do they tango in the proper attires or do they only wear Speedos?
Hanuman.... you must come to BOS and find out!!! lol
topping for you calendar imput

yk gave me a map of Boston as a gift last week, so should I use it for the GTG? Was this a hint? What other uses can a map of Boston have? A shade hat?
Please put me down as a maybe.
khunwilko: "It'll be interesting to put a face to filmwill!"
And a very, very nice looking face that is too!
easy, send me your e mail and i will send you the info i just sent out two days ago:
rhkonthailand@msn.com
ttt
Hi, bob!
I just resent the original email. Did you receive it?
no...send it to rhkonthailand@msn.com
The primary use of a Boston map is to figure out how to get to Cambridge as quickly as possible.
Would love to join you in October, but have too many irons in the fire. We go to southern NH every Labor Day week to visit old college friends of my husband's and could make it another September.
I live in the wilds of southern Indiana and I suspect that bookchick is fly-over person as well. Any chance of a GTG in Chicago sometime?
Hi indianapearl
I'm in west central Illinois. I'm flying over to the BOS GTG also. This will be either my 4th or 5th time... I've lost count. It's a really nice time, and what a lovely bunch of people. And, early October is great for seeing some color in New Hampshire.
Carol
Hi Bob, Karen, Gpanda and all GTG friends. I'll be there. Will Dogster make a stuffed appearance again? We made a handsome couple.
patricia....after his last experiences i don't think you will want to lady-handle him again...
lol lol lol.
Dogster remains pure as the driven snow. He is keeping himself clean for Boston. He knows who his real friends are.
I'm hoping there is no driven snow in Boston in October. However, the Dogster is always welcome at the GTG. I would love to read about his adventures in the seamier side of Cambridge. Maybe there will be something about leaving a book opened on a table thereby theratening the integrity of its spine.
where are all our regulars this year....who is coming???
Hi Carol: I'll check out some flight possibilities. The last time I flew to Boston (2003), there was a non-stop from Indy to Boston. Maybe next year.
Carol(yes, my real name is not Pearl)
SMALL CHANGE IN PLANS....ITS ONLY THE GTG HOTEL FOR OUT OF TOWNERS.....IN ORDER TO SAVE MONEY I HAVE DECIDED TO SWITCH FROM THE WALTHAM SUMMERFIELD BACK TO THE BURLINGTON, MA SUMMERFIELD SUITES....
burlington has a pre-pay price of $79 or an AAA and seniors price of $89 (no pre-pay). this is much less than the $129 lowest price available in waltham.....
the distance is only 10 miles further away at the most and on the same highway.....plus most of you know its location from previous years....put the money towards wine instead!!
grab your res now as i am sure the price will change....i took the non-pre-pay and will convert to the prepay that week if it is still available....
btw, i have not heard from many of you....hope we can muster at least 30 again this year....
bob
ttt
I just made reservations for me and Eric at the Hyatt Summerfield Suites in Burlington for Friday Oct 9 and Saturday Oct 10. I chose the AAA rate since my health situation precludes me from making any plans that require money up front. Hopefully all will be resolved long before that. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
Ken, we'll miss you!
aloha laurie, my good wishes to you, and hope you get better. lets hope for another gtg, where ever.
ttt
Hello rhkkmk,
I sent you an e-mail yesterday with a question about the logistics, i.e., whether this can be reasonably doable if I will not have a car with me. If you don't get the e-mail, I'll re-send.
CMT-yes, it is very doable without a car. We'll just match you up with someone that can assist for lunch on Sat. The other two spots are reachable through public transportation.
Gpanda, is your e-mail address posted here somewhere?
Really no worries for people without cars. The main event on Saturday is actually very easy to reach vi public transportation -- the Hotel Indigo is adjacent to the Riverside MBTA station (Green Line).
I was planning to skip the brunch but go to the two evening dinners. I will not have a car.
Hi Bob-As you know Jim and I will be unable to attend the GTG this year as we will be in Capetown getting it ready for your arrival. A word to any fence sitters or newbies who are considering going- We had a great time last year at the Sat. night dinner. (We could not make the luncheon GTG) That was our first GTG and we had a wonderful time. The food was great. The company was fabulous. (Even Dogster was well behaved) A really good time was had by all.
CMT-it's:
gpanda52@aol.com
The Dogster was kind of quiet, but extremely well-dressed.
cmt
Do you live in the city? I am flying in from Illinois and I will have a rental car. I'll be staying in Burlington MA at the Hyatt Summerfield Suites that Bob (rhkkmk) recommends.
Carol
I live in NJ, and if I do go, it will be by train. I think I'd like to do things in Boston/Cambridge on Saturday (instead of going to the brunch), so I probably should stay someplace that's convenient for that. I am totally unfamiliar with the area, having visited there only once, briefly, when I was 15--many, many moons ago. I haven't looked at a map yet to see where Burlington is.
cmt, you definitely don't want to stay in Burlington if you take the train and want to do some sightseeing in Boston/Cambridge -- Burlington is not convenient to the interesting spots, and you need a car.
For good access to the Fri & Sat dinners, a hotel near Kendall Square (Cambridge) would be ideal. You could take the Red Line & bus to Arlington Center for Friday, and you'd be in walking distance of Saturday's dinner. Second-best is any hotel near the Red line (Harvard Sq or Boston Common, for example).
Thanks for the advice. If anyone has hotel suggestions fitting the above guidelines, I'd welcome them. I'd better buy a map of Boston/Cambridge (or a guide book with maps).
cmt: My plans are looking more and more favorably on landing in Boston at least by the 10th of October.
Main reason is that the NY Met live HD simulcast will begin on the 10th and I can't see myself caught out in the New England toolies somewhere and missing the first live simulcast!
I'll definitely have a car, as have to drive in from Vermont. Be happy to pick you up from anywhere and give you a ride - at least to the Saturday night shindig.
Not certain yet where I'll be Friday night, but if close, I could also give you a ride on Friday night.
Otherwise, rizzuto's advice is good to get a hotel near the sights of Boston and Cambridge, where presumably you'd want to do some exploring.
ok....as stated the indigo hotel is directly next door to the MBTA (public trolley system) at a station called riverside....this is the same name of the trolley line it is on and is also called the green line for cambridgeites that only know colors (note that is not cantabridgians)...
this is by far the easiest place of the weekend to get to...
friday nite is the most difficult although the MBTA has bus service to the area along Mass Avenue from Harvard square cambridge... saturday nite is just down the road from lechmere station on the MBTA also...
getting away after the GTG's is easy as many of us have cars and will drive you...
hotels: you will be shocked with the prices around boston....priceline is a good bet...
i will look for your mail on my alternative e site...
I was not planning to go to he Indigo Hotel, so my concerns were about getting to the other two GTGs.
I've never used Priceline. I had the impression that it's not possible to specify locations (sections of town, e.g.).
I should probably reconsider attending....
Easytraveler: Thank you very much for the offer. IF I do go, I would welcome rides in the evening. But so far, it's still a big "if" and I'm reconsidering.
i notice that hotwire.com is advertising affordable hotel prices for boston
Before using Priceline, check out biddingfortravel, com. Anyway, when bidding on priceline, you pick a location and a star level and submit a bid for a certain dollar amount. Your bid will either be accepted or rejected. If accepted, they will tell you which hotel. I've used it lots with good savings.
I used Hotwire for Theater District and got the Radisson ( thought I can't recall how many stars). As with everywhere, hotels are down and I've seen some good deals - I think most recently on Travelzoo.
cmt: you've got to come! Boston is a great city and has so much to offer.

Right now, as the crazy quilt fragments of my trip come together, it looks like I'll be in Boston Friday and possibly even before that.
Being from California, we're used to driving long distances, so I can come and pick you up from whichever hotel you choose. Now you have no excuse not to come!
Give us an idea of what you want to do in Boston and I'm sure the guys can work out a good hotel for you.
btw, for any of you who plan to come we need a count for each meal....please let me know of your intentions: rhkonthailand@msn.com
i have written the final notice and will be sending it out about september 8 upon my return from europe... remember europe, that's the place we all used to go to before discovering the wonders of asia...
Ha, ha, Bob, yes, I know that comment was directed at me. Pfffft!
BC
I still want to go to Italy one more time . . .
me too and england, france and all the other places...
I dunno, Bob, somehow I don't picture you back in Romania, nor do I see you in Luxor again for some reason....Indianapearl, there's nothing wrong with you, and don't let anyone convince you otherwise!!
BC
Thanks, bookchick! I feel better now.
The POB is soon off to Russia, then South Africa, then Bangkok with the pandas and then in May, Bali, again with the pandas. His dance card is pretty full. It was just our bad luck that he's actually going to be home for the GTG.
easy---can you send me a contact address for you so that i can add you to the e mail list for sept 8 about the final GTG info?
rhkonthailand@msn.com
simpsonc510: do you have a direct flight from The City with Big Shoulders?
indiana
I start off in a local commuter airport, but yes, I have a non stop from ORD to Manchester NH.
Carol
Y'all have a good to time you hear!!!
Carol-you'll need a visa to go from New hampshire to Cambridge.
And Panda, you should have vaccinations before leaving Cambridge for anywhere!
BC
Why would I leave Cambridge? Aside from the random trip to Asia, I remain in Cambridge as much as possible. Allowing Bob to lure us out to the GFS suburbs for the lunch on Sat. was a big concession.
Gpanda, it's a conspiracy! Be careful!
BC
In the immortal words of Elmer Fudd, I'll be veddy, veddy cawful.
BC
Wow, BC... I didn't have any idea that you could keep up with the bad boys here on the forum! Good on you! See you in October in BOS.
Carol
Carol, I am so looking forward to seeing you again, and I'm enjoying reading about your adventures in BKK.
BC
Bob, I'm picking up my little gift items from BKK. Any hint as to how many will be attending? Male/female? (I might do two different gift bags... one for guys, one for gals)... or another thought is to do a "couple" bag and a "single" bag.
Carol
people are very slow to indicate their attendence this year....it must be because the GTG in not in the city....haha... and that they object to the free parking.... i always plan on 30 and there are more women usually than men...
I'm still thinking about this, but there's only about a 10% chance I'll join you.
leaving next week for two weeks but a reminder notice will be sent out about sept 7-8
I e mailed those whom i thought had interest today.....so if there are others, please let me know at rhkonthailand@msn.com
responses are coming in quickly now....
Bob
I see that in the first entry (waaaaaay back when you started this thread) you indicated that the Waltham hotel would be the hdqtrs. Without reading all the way through, did we manage to change that to Burlington Summerfield Suites? Just checking.
Carol
yes maybe about 1/2 way...
Thank you so much for the invite!!! I will try to stop by for one of the events.
BTW, since I am a waitress, I appreciate your "cash-only" planning!!!!
Also, I live in Boston, so if anyone has any questions about how to spend your time in this lovely city, LMK! I must say, though, I rarely venture over to Cambridge. I hear it is lovely.
Hey, hope you'll join us, puttakka. I was a waitress a couple of times, before finishing my degree and then teaching 1st grade for 33 years... I was a carhop too! Back in the 60s at an A & W Rootbeer stand... no, we didn't wear skates!
Don't forget to let Bob know that you plan to pop in. Hope to see you!
Carol
i can see it now...carol rounding a corner on rollerskates delivering a plate of phad thai
Bob... tsk tsk... don't you have jetlag or something!!??
CS, jetlag is hardly a detterent to Bob's fertile imagination! (Now that I stop to think of it, it may be fuel to the fire, so to speak.)
Puttaka, please attend, you will have a great time, I can vouch for it!
BC
Hi: I'll be at the Saturday lunch event at the Indigo Hotel. Thanks!
Bob can you make room for one more? I am sending my father to keep the panda company.....
we have plenty of room for him, but tell him not to pay the airlines extra baggage fee for the coffin
city-- i have added you to the list, thanks...look forward to meeting you
still looking for more participants and several regulars have still to respond???
GOOD NEWS THE PRICE OF THE LUNCHEON HAS BEEN REDUCED TO $30, so that means lots more of you can sign up...
still have not heard from some of you??
hanuman has a fantastic trip report on the europe forum...i could not find it by a search but found it by clicking on his name...
title is something like: "my switzerland"
great photos
Come on guys...If I can come all the way from Honolulu VIa tokyo, you can make it from DC or wherever!!
Beth and I are coming back from China just for the GTG. Latecomers will not have to sit next to Bob.
nor will they have to eat italian food...
looking for a few more victums to gpanda's stories
Starting to pack today, as I leave very early Wednesday AM for MHT for a couple of days, before the GTGs start.
Looking forward to seeing everyone once again! It's such a treat to meet more fodorites and put a face and name together.
Carol
wish Muffin and I could attend. Have a great time everyone
Smeagol, then we will just have to drink a toast to you and Muffin! I wish you could both attend, too.
BC
puttaka, you'll love the People's Republic of Cambridge.
Is the Friday night dinner at Punjab in Arlington still on (7:00 p.m.)?
Thanks
Kup khun krup
mimi---hope you will come friday nite....someone will drive you home for sure...
maybe we should have the boston GTG next year in henley in arden, UK??? smeagol or rather david could cook for us...
Citywalks, yes!
Iv Mimi needs a ride home Friday night, I'll be more than happy to drive her.
How about pickup?
easy, she says she is not coming...
Oh, no!

I was so looking forward to meeting her!
Hope she's doing fine!
How about Saturday night?
this is the last chance to be added to the saturday GTG rolls as i have to guarantee the numbers monday....
Sorry Bob, we won't be able to make it this year. Our daughter is due to deliver any day now. First grandson coming up! Very exciting.
Y'll have a great time, ya hear, at the GTG. Enjoy.
mag--we will miss you but expect to see you some future year...
congrats on the baby
THANKS EASYTRAVELLER, I'll be at the lunch. Hope you will
be there.
Hi,
I wrote "rhkkmk" earlier this week about attending the GTG on Saturday. My husband and I were in France recently and we just got unburied. We'd love to attend the GTG and haven't heard if we can come on short notice. Can anyone help? Thanks, Margie
Margie-you're more than welcome to attend. The events are:
Fri. night dinner-Indian-Arlington
Sat. aft. lunch-american-newton
sat. night dinner-Thai-Cambridge
You can contact me at gpanda53@aol.com
or Bob at RhkKmk@msn.com
Thanks. I tried emailing you twice and it bounced. However, please note that Larry and Margie krakauer will be coming to the Saturday luncheon.
margie you are all set....i just called the hotel and let them know to increase our numbers...
looks like we will be 30 for lunch on saturday
Does Panda count as two since he's twice as exasperating as anyone else there???
BC
no, 1/2
Have fun, you crazy kids!
David and I will be thinking of you and sending our best from DC.
Best of luck--I'm sure it'll be a total success. Just don't envy the person who becomes official GTG Treasurer.
FW and David will be missed, but the GTG must go on. Chez Panda is being disinfected as we speak.
off top the airport in a few minutes to pick up the first arrival....well actually the 2nd as carol arrived yesterday
Looking forward to seeing old friends and new ones too on Saturday at Lunch!!!!
Jeff, happy you are going and to see you again. I wanted to email you where I could buy the cigale curtains, but your email bounced. Hope everyone has their shots in case bitten by the panda
cigale, will you be at the dinner Sat night in Cambridge? I can't make it to the Sat lunch, but I'm going to Sat dinner. If you need a ride, I'm more than happy to pick you up & drop you off.
Well, I can't make it, they closed the streets of Hartford earlier than published (for the marathon) ... I guess I'll polish silver all day..... jeff
Cigale - tomorrow is your birthday???/ Do I remember right??? I need to think hard about the curtains - we bought them in France,,, my brain can see the tag, but not the name!
