Bomb @ The Traders Hotel in Yangon Wounds Tourist

Jump to last reply

I haven't seen anything in the American media but read about this in the Guardian. I certainly don't want to fear monger but I thought those of you who will be in Yangon soon might want to be aware of this.

It was one of several bombings though the hotel bomb was the only one in which tourists may have being targeted. Its certainly something to note, though the information around the events seem somewhat murky at this point.

I have to say it makes me glad I'll be staying in a modest hotel in Yangon.
