Bhutan, Tibet and Nepal

Jump to last reply

We recently returned from a 5 1/2 week trip to Bhutan, Tibet, Nepal and Sikkim. We did private trips with local companies. For our 11 day trip to Tibet, including Base Camp Everest, we paid $1055 per person. We used a tour company out of Kathmandu called Green Hill. Their e-mail address is ghill@wlink.com.np; web site www.greenhilltours.com They were excellent, and we also used them for a short trip to Chitwan Park in Nepal. I would highly recommend our Tibetan guide, Champa Tseten.
We toured Bhutan for 12 days, and used Yodsel Tours in Thimphu. Their website is www.yodsel.com; e-mail dawa@druknet.net.bt We were very pleased with their services and professionalism. Our guide, Dorji Tshering, was excellent. He has started his own tour company, Druk Himalayan Expeditions - www.drukhimalayan.com; e-mail drukhima@druknet.bt In view of how well he did with our group, I am sure that he will do a great job with his own company.
If anyone would like more information or specifics, please contact me at my e-mail address.
