In the very, very early planning stages of a trip to Bhutan next October. One of the itineraries I've gotten includes the Druk Path trek, from Paro to Thimpu, to be completed in 5 days. Anyone done this? Is there good, varied scenery? How strenuous is it? It tends to be categorized as moderate, but that means different things to different people. I'm under forty (barely), and in decent shape... if I did this I'd get into better shape leading up to the trip. How did the altitude affect you-- this worries me the most, because living in Chicago, I'm not used to it. I know everyone is different, but just looking for some first hand experiences as I decide whether or not to do this.
Thanks!

Hello Jen,
Yes you can do this trek within 05 days and scenery is good as well with moderate.Infact drukpath trek is a simple trek for you and also altitude sickness are very rare if you prefer to do drukpath trek. And i recommend you to do this trekking(Druk Path). By the way which agent you are using in Bhutan, its always recommended to use reliable agent in Bhutan.
