Don't know about any specific tips, but here is a link to some photos from Bhutan.

Don't have any personal experience of Taj Tashi at Thimpu, but have heard very good reports. However, to get the best out of your trip to this wonderful country, consider the Taj as your banker accommodation and get out and about, as much as you can.
IMO, you really need to leave the security of a luxury hotel, to truly get the feel of Bhutan. More so, than many other Asian countries.

If you look under my name you will find some info about our trip to Bhutan in Oct last year. As Kathie said choose Bhutan in the "search by country" tab & see what comes up there. Will be happy to answer any specific questions you have. Will Thimphu be your only destination?

I think you will be very very busy. When we went to the Haa valley we did it as entire day trip. We had a picnic lunch in the valley & got back to Paro in the late afternoon. Also the day we went up to Taktsang monastery it was a late afternoon return to Paro. But if you are not planning on going all the way up to the temple but rather stopping at the tea house then that will make for a much shorter day. We do tend to like to take our time somewhere because who knows when or if you will ever get back there. We went up to the monastery stopping for tea on the way & then had a late lunch at the tea house on the way back down. Day 3 & 4 should be fine you can just skip one of the things if you are running out of time so do the things you most want to see fist. Day 5 I cannot imagine being very much fun for you. You will spend a lot of time driving on winding roads with not much time to see the sights you want to see. You will definately need day 6 to relax! I think Punakha Dzong was one of my favorites but given your limited time I think & would miss it. One of the beauties of Bhutan is how calm & serine it & the people are & I think a slower pace is the only way to really feel this.
