Which is the best hawker center to eat at:
1) Maxwell Road Mkt.
2) Newtons Circus
3) Kallang
4) La Pa Sat
Any others you can recommend?
Also, what are your favorite restaurants at Clarks Quay or Boat Quay.
Thanks

Newton Circus is probably the most well-known hawker centres known to tourist. Hence, the prices might be pricey but you will get everything there.

As for Maxwell, lots of good local food but you won't be able to get any seafood there.
I've never been to Kallang but I wont recommend Lau Pa Sat, though the environment is definitely nicer than Maxwell and Newton.
Not sure whether you like seafood (its gorgeous!), but if you do, there is a stretch of seafood resturants along East Coast Road where you can have a wonderful meal in the open with occasional sea breezes.
Another option is Elias Park, situated in the Pasir Ris Park. Most of the restaurants are along the coast, so the ambience is quite nice.
Hope it helps!
Thanying Thai restaurant at Clarke's Quay. Make a reservation if it's for dinner. Happy Travels!
My vote goes to Newton Circus. Its close to town and easy to get to (just hop onto the MRT train), and the food is of a good standard. Try the stingray!
