Beijing: Neighborhood of Line 1 subway station "San Ke Song"?

My parents will be staying in the neighborhood of Beijing's subway station "San Ke Song" (almost the west-most station on Line 1) in Holiday Inn Chang An West for 3 weeks.

Does anyone know about the neighborhood? e.g. Are there any clean restaurants for daily lunches and dinners (my father will be working somewhere closeby for 3 weeks)?

How about grocery shopping for fruits, drinks and bread, etc.?

Thanks,
Kat
