Or it was for me. Atop the Sofitel Hotel, between soi 13 &15 on sukumvit. Has an outdoor terrace with panoramic views of the city skyline. Drinks were about 360 baht. Think there was a two for one ladies special before 8 pm. Friendly staff. They served almonds and green olives to encourage refills
nice breeze blowing and interesting to watch the lights come on and an approaching rainstorm. French restaurant located on the same floor, but it seemed a Bit expensive. I have had this on my to do list and finally got around to it this last trip.
I think Carol said she has been here. Anybody else?

trip report to tajmahal agra india

Yes, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We did not try the French restaurant because we had just had the 2nd floor buffet (very big) so were not the least bit hungry.
The view is really nice. I like the 'library' room up there.

Carol, I liked the Library as well. They also had a lobby bar with a live band but we dinner reservations to meet, and did not stop by.
Yes I have and it's a great place to rest up after a hard day of volunteering.
Good point Hanuman - balance and moderation!
