Let's pray it's nothing more than a warning. I received this a few minutes ago:

Under the emergency circumstance of Tsunami warning in the area of Andaman Ocean, Phuket International Airport as part of an evacuation zone has to temporarily close for safety reason until April 12, 2012 at 8 a.m. (Thailand local time).
Bangkok Airways announced cancellation of all flights in and out of Phuket on April 11, 2012. There are totally 7 flights that have been cancelled as follows.
Bangkok-Phuket 3 flights (PG277, PG279 and PG220)
Phuket-Bangkok 2 flights (PG278, and PG280)
Samui-Phuket 1 flight (PG257)
Phuket-Samui 1 flight (PG258)
Passengers booked in these flights or has their travel itinerary to Phuket or Krabi during 11 - 12 April 2012, may contact Bangkok Airways Ticketing Office to re-book new flight with no additional charge.
