Just follow the signs.
Have a great trip!
Depending on what time you arrive, you might want to treat yourself to an AOT (Airports of Thailand) official car into town. These are arranged at desks in the baggage hall (look for yellow AOT signs). You can pay by credit card in the baggage hall, then will be escorted to your car once through customs.
If you want a car service as opposed to a taxi, AAC limo is less expensive. I've been using them for years. Make reservations via email.
The taxi area is one level DOWN from arrivals. You can take your luggage cart on the people mover with no problem. Just release the handle so the brake sets. Once you are down on ground level, just follow the signs (probably to the LEFT) and then go out the door and get in line (if there IS a line). The person at the desk will tell the driver where you are going and give you a receipt. Remember to add (in your head, because in my experience, the driver does NOT ask) the 50 baht airport fee to the fare. You will need another 70 baht for the two tolls on the way into the city.
Have a great time!!! I'm enjoying my last day here, flying home in less than 24 hours. Wish our schedules could have coincided, but maybe another time.
