Bali - Grand Nikko Bali

I have booked a villa in Ubud for my first two nights in Bali (Jan 20-21). For the next two nights, I am considering the Grand Nikko Bali in Nusa Dua, the hotel we stayed in some 15 years back. The question relates to room rates: am I likely to snag a better rate if I book just a day or two before? I am now seeing a $140 rate (plus 20% or 15%?). Any thoughts?
