Where do Aussie World Cup soccer fans gather to watch the matches in Singapore?
I am travelling to Singapore for two weeks staying at Tiong Bahru.
We are in the grip of football mania at the moment having qualified for the second round to meet Italy, and I hate to leave the euphoria here.
At the very least, do they show all the matches on a tv channel there?

Cambodia, Laos and a bit of Hong Kong - 5 1/2 weeks (Jan.24-March 4, 2013)

'Soccer' = Football, as it is properly known.
When we were there last week, they had outdoor screens set up in the Chimes area, where we saw many expats hanging out. However, I'm not sure where in particular Aussie fans hang out.
Thanks, ngodeia.
I'll check out the Chimes area.
Perhaps the World Cup is not a big deal in Singapore.
Here it is media saturation, and cars driving around with flags because of Australia's involvement.
The world cup is a big deal in all of Asia (and most of the world) since forever, so don't worry about finding a place to watch the world cup in Singapore...all the bars (and even neighbourhood coffeeshops) will be lively with activity with large screens showing the matches all night long. Try Boat Quay, Clarke Quay, Chimes as suggested, the hotel bars etc.
All matches are shown live on cable (paid) TV. Local (free) TV are showing selected few live. Check listings when you're there.
