Attending Wedding in Sylhet

Jump to last reply

My friend has invited me to attend his wedding in Bangladesh, specifically the Sylhet region, I've yet to make a decision, however I am willing to experience something totally different.

I assume the process shouldn't be more than 4 days.

What is the travel time from London to Sylhet?

Do I need a visa, if not should I use my American or British passport?

What is the safety of Sylhet like, compared to New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco and London?

How hard will it be for a vegetarian to find food, and Western food outlets?

Do people speak English?

This will be my first time outside of an US/UK/CA/AU/NZ country.
