Asia Visitors-Red Sox

Once again, I am beseeching anyone currently in Asia to say a special word for the Red Sox when visiting temples. I did so in 2004 and 2007. Did not do so in 2005 or 2006. I was going to take a pass this year, but Thursday night's win suggested divine intervention, so I thought I would do my part.

P.S., while in the temples, you might put in a word so the Yankees are actually competitive next year.

Thanks for the good wishes for my lowly Yankees. With the current battle going on, I'd think you'd feel that there is enough competition in that division. As for this weekend, if Beckett and Lester come through, divine intervention will not be required. As for me, it is my moral duty to root for the Rays and hope that their home team advantage will overcome the RS amazing ability to come back again and again.

The magic apparently worked for Game 6. Nothing big needs doing. Maybe a lotus bud strategically placed will suffice.

Abject Failure. The beloved Red Sox went down faster than my 401K. Thanks for any help. Could not overcome the Rays Karma.

The gods with which/whom I have a passing familiarity have a particularly acute sense of balance. This seems to be especially true of the Asian ones. I would not be at all surprised if they wished Boston fans to seek and find an enlightened path of realizing that the local squad has surely been the best team in this decade, and that an abundance of riches is not proper. You might say that the gods are socialist, I suppose.

I have no problem with sharing the wealth. Like they say:

A chicken in every non-Yankee pot

Are there still any such abodes? It may be a Yankee household, but it can't be a home. the Yankees never get anyone as far as home/

Obviously the RS magic is gone and the natural (blue pinstripe) order will be restored.

Perhaps Gpanda would be willing to redistribute some of his wealth to help pay off the ever escalating national debt.

The debate on socialism will have to wait until there is actually any money to spread around. We can all eat sticky rice in the meantime.

I forgot to say that the house (well, apartment) is draped in black bunting..I hope I don't have to leave that stuff up all winter and into spring! It makes the place look very gloomy.
