My partner and I are returning to Thailand this Summer for the 4th year in a row! We're stopping in Bangkok for 3.5 days on the way out. I've therefore been trying to book siteseeing tours in advance of our arrival but this is proving extremely difficult. I had drafted an itinerary in the hope of maximising our stay. The answer is that you will not get the report unless you post your email address- I can't understand either how so many people haven't worked this out! However, even if you do post your address you'd be wasting your time- Lyn has stopped sending out her report. This has been reported several times and has been ignored by everyone. I am curious if anyone ever got a copy of this report. given that the post is 3 years old and she never posts anymore, as is repeated here ad nauseum...

In a seperate post some time ago it was stated that Lynn is no longer sending out her report. In any case it is in November 1999 that the report was about and mainly about hotels and hotel restaurants. I got the report a couple of years ago and, although relatively good it is pretty out of date now.
What amuses me is the number of requests with no email address given!

Please note that while people keep responding to this message, Lynn has not sent out her trip report for at least a year, probably longer.

I got this report e-mailed to me about two years ago. It was quite good. I no longer have it, but I do remember some of it. She took a 7-day trip with Pacific Delight to BKK. She stayed at a mid-range hotel (not on the river K and B) that was somewhat touristy. She seemed to enjoy the normal planned activities and group nature of the tour. It entailed the usual components, Grand Palace et al. You can probably look at the Pacific Delight website to get details. Actually Bill - this is trip report #2 and Lynn has since been to Thailand for trip #3. Needless to say, one could spend their entire work day sending out trip reports so she stopped doing it.

Folks out there asking for this report - if you just do a serch on the forum for Thailand many people who visited more recently have posted loads of useful information. Gpanda, why amd I wasting my breath (or in this case typing)? What number are we betting on now? 1000 no longer seems out of the realm of possibility!
