Anyone can reccomend a good Tom Yum paste and where to get it?
Am heading to Bangkok soon..and love to cook Tom Yum..anyone got any recommendations on a good brand to get whilst in Bangkok..appreciate the recommendations..Thanks

I prefer the one that comes in a small jar, rather than the ones that come in a packet. Unfortunately, I'm not in Bangkok at the moment, so I can't check my fridge to see what the brand is. I get it at Tops.
There is also a brand of dried spice mixes that's very good, available at Gourmet Market (Emporium & Paragon). The Gaeng Ba and Pat Krapow ones are excellent, far better than any curry paste I've ever gotten in a packet, and they would be great for travel. The Tom Yum mixes are okay, but not as good as the jar, IMO.
