We will be in Luang Prabang in early June. I came across Shangri Lao website and it looks exactly what we would like to do for a night and two days.
They don't have any prices on their website and their email address is not allowing me to send an email. It asks for a password and I don't know what that means.
Has anyone used this company ? Can you suggest another company ?
Any information will be appreciated.
Any information on Shangri Lao?

I don't know that particular organisation, but it seems that it was due to open late in 2011 - maybe it is not open for business yet? It seems it is linked with http://www.elephantvillage-laos.com/lodge.html as it is mentioned on their website. Elephant vlliage used to be known as Tiger Trails with whom I had a few problems back in 2007.
Shangri Lao is a magical place.... we spent the day there, grooming and riding elephants.... they had just opened, and seemed a bit hazy about prices... but it seemed to be VERY reasonable (like maybe under a 100?) for the night in a dreamy little cottage, on maybe the most beautiful river I have ever seen.... ALSO lunch was included in our day trip, and it was very good... i daydream about this place.... GO!!!!!! very cool.....
