I'd assumed long-haul, of which all aircraft types are 34" except one, which is 33-34".
If short-haul flights were meant (as may quite possibly be the case, although given the large number of domestic choices the chances of being on Air China is not great for the average traveller), the news is not good, since the seat pitch varies between 30" (only one aircraft type) and 32" (the majority), but nothing larger.

I dont know what your routing is, but check out EVA airlines. For a couple of hundred dollars more you can upgrade to a better class with more leg room. i have heard they are a good airline and I am looking into them for our next trip to Asia.
