Adapter & Converters for Hong Kong. And I miss Rick Steves.

Jump to last reply

First of all I know many people do not care for Rick Steves. But I am not one of them. His guide books and TV shows were the most helpful tools for me in going to Europe. Basically he took the fear out of traveling to Europe for most Americans.

But now that I am making my first trip to Hong Kong, I wish there was a Rick Steves guide book. I have read many negative reviews of Lonely Planet and Fodors. And I have checked them and others out and they seem so dry and unconnected. Some are for the backpackers and some are for the rich. That is why I loved Rick. He was for us regular middle guys with a regular income.

Anyway, sorry to rant, but I do have a question. Will my adapter and converter from Europe work in Hong Kong or do I play it safe and buy a new set. All that I will be using it for would be to recharge my phone and a laptop. Thank you.
