Our latest trip leaving in April is:
Brisbane-Singapore-Siem Reap. Where we have 3 full days in Angkor Wat, all organized.
Siem Reap-Saigon. 3 full days, been here before, visitng tailor and doing day tour that we didnt get to do last time due to 1 friend having to be rushed to hospital, we recommend the International SOS Hospital, they were outstanding!
Saigon-Hue. 2 days all organized.
Hue-Hoi An. 3 days, we have a day tour a 2 free days, We'll visit a tailor but what else should we/could we do there? We're staying at Palm Garden where ever that may be.
Hoi An-Singapore arriving late. We have 2 full days a 1 night here.
We thought we'd go to the zoo and see the Sentosa Night Lights, nothing else planned.
Any suggestions for must see/do ideas? Also a restaurant not to be missed?
We'll get accomm in Singapore via KrisFlyer, what is a good central area?

Sally, it sounds like you have your trip all planned.
There are many dozens of threads here about what you do in Singapore. Browse through them. (Start by choosing Singapore from the drop-down menu) It's hard for any of us to suggest what to do in Singapore not knowing your interests.
In terms of where to stay, for me the most important factor is being very close to an MRT station. Really, there is no one central area. If you tell us what hotels are options for you, we can be of some assistance.
Restaurants? Singapore has a wealth of good restaurants. I don't think there is any one "not to be missed." What kind of food are you interested in? Do you want a fancy, sit-down meal or a food court?
AsiaExpert & Kathie, thanks for your help, we've got our 2 days full.
Restaurants, my travelling companion is highly allergic to Chilli, as in die allergic, so somewhere where they have some English, so they understand the problem.
Food courts are fine, and I certainly dont have a problem with "fancy". We went to a "fine dining" restaurant in Bangkok one time and had the best Peking Duck I've ever had.
As English is one of the two official languages of Singapore, you won't have difficulty making yourself understood about the allergy issue even at food courts.
One of my favorite nicer restaurants is Doc Cheng's, located inside Raffles Hotel.
Was the Bangkok Restaurant where you had the best Peking Duck China House at the Oriental?
