I’ll be in visiting Gyeongju for one day in the last weeks of May. I haven’t decided when yet.
1. Has anyone stayed at the Shillabang in Gyeongju? I wanted to stay at Sarangchae but apparently they are booked solid the last 2 wks of May. Can anyone make any recommendations for hanok stays? Something not too pricey please.
2. Can anyone recommend any good ssambap places in Gyeongju? I’d like to go where the locals go not so much tourist.
3. Since I only have 1 day to tour Gyeongju, I’m thinking about visiting the places below. Is I’ll be in visiting Gyeongju for one day in the last weeks of May. I haven’t decided when yet.

4. I’m actually very bad with public transportation and time. Could you please tell me if the below directions are correct?
5. In terms of transportation costs, is it cheaper to take the city bus tour to visit these 3 areas or should I just take rides from the bus terminal independently? If someone could please direct me to a site where I can get bus ride costs, I’d really appreciate it. If the site is in English, I’d appreciate it even more.

You reaaly can't micromanage travel in Korea like that. You need to be willing to go with the flow.
I suggest you contact the Korean Tourist Office, I found the one in the US very helpful.
