I like the idea of Thailand and Cambodia as in plan #3, but you have an awfully lot of time in Chiang Mai. And are you planing on the Mae Hong Son loop? Four days in PP is way more than you need unless you are volunteering there or something.

All three itineraries have certain points to commend them and all, IMHO have some pretty major flaws but, having been to all of the places mentioned, I would vote #1 comes closest to my ideal. Whether it would suit you is, of course an entirely different matter.

You reall need to provide more info on your interests and budget, style of travel etc. e.g. Are you prepared to rough it to get to some fantastic, out of the way villages or do you prefer 5* luxury, iconic religious sites etc?

Wen you say you are planning in travelling n summer, when exactly do you mean? SEA doesn't really have summer & winter in the accepted sense of the world. Timing cold have a big effect on your plans.

hi, what major flaws? I think i would prefer to rought it. for my first time in the region i'm not looking for luxury, not even close. Summer as between july and september, not the ideal time.
