In August,I have 11 days and I'm pretty set on going to Vietnam, but I've been thinking about China, esp. Beijing..
Thoughts? Is this a no-brainer? Thanks!

Look - Beijing is a smoghole but there are some amazing things to see. Were you thinking of spending all 11 days there? No probably not. Where else would you want to go? Xian, the Great Wall? Have you thought that far?
China big country. Vietnam long narrow country. What is it you want to do/see?
How do you travel? Is it as many things as possible in the shortest possible time, or do you like to busk it?
China is not the easiest place to travel around. Yet to visit Vietnam, but hear it's easier than Laos or Cambodia, so should be a doddle.
