1 Day in BKK - Help Pls ...

Jump to last reply

Ok im leaving for Europe in March from Sydney ...I'd like to do some shopping in Thailand unfortunately time is of the essence for the whole trip the most I could afford in bkk is 1 day or nothing pretty much ... I have the option of taking a late night departure from Sydney and arriving very early morning in Bkk on TG. The onward connection to Franfurt is approx 12am that evening. So I ultimately have a whole day ... What should I do? Id like to do sum shopping, maybe a market and a temple ...is this manageable? or am i off my nut ...

Essentially shopping wise just want sum thai momento's as well as dvd's bags watches (fakes) ... maybe MBK?

Anyway let me know what you all think and where this jam packed day is possible as well as any tips on how to make it run smoothly ... BTW 1ST TIMER so not exactly familiar with the city

Otherwise ive heard of transit tours ... do these still run anybody done one and can give their opinion of what they're like??

Finally, should I perhaps choose an easier city to get around eg Singapore.
