WTH just happened to my airfare?

Jump to last reply

I have been planning a trip to Europe this October (Cincinnati -> AMS, PAR -> Cincinnati). The airfares had been at $919 for a couple of weeks, and I was getting ready to purchase, then last night the fares jumped to $1,140! For 5 people, the impact is over $1,000.

Given that the trip is still about 3 months out, should I be patient and wait for the price to fall (hope!)? I was thinking airfare to Europe during off-peak should be in the $750 - $900 range - am I off base?

Thanks.
