United To Brazil

United To Brazil

Hi! Just wondering if anyone has flown United Airlines to Brazil? How is the service? I am sure just like the rest of them but i am just curious.

I took United from Washington Dulles to Rio last November. Connection in Miami going south was quick. Out of the plane, a 2 minute walk, then board the flight to GIG. On the return, there was more walking to do and the departure area was a hub for UA flights from all over S. America connecting there to various US cities.

End of December, I also took UA to Sao Paulo from IAD, via Miami southbound and nonstop coming back.

Got the usual good service from United, and I thought the food was good believe it or not.

I am flying to Rio (GIG) next month on the United flight. Can one see the city of Rio when flying in from Sao Paulo, if yes what side of the plane should I sit on to see the view? Thanks.

Hi! thanks for the replys. Ponchotj you can't see the city when you fly in to Sao Paulo but what an amazing City. Not sure if you have ever been to New York before but just imagine 3 times larger then New York City. You will have a blast. Have fun

What about flying into Rio (GIG) any view of the city...thanks for the info...any suggestions for Rio de Janeiro...

I've flown United several times in the past year. And DL and AA once each. The only notable difference I've seen is the UA flights from Chicago which use the 777. Seems roomier. And UA still gave me wine last trip. AA charged me. MIA and ORD are easier. Dulles is harder to get through. Bottom line though is price for me...and see my other post.
