Unable to prebook seats AF Premium Economy??!

Jump to last reply

I found a decent deal on Premium Economy seats on AF going from Atlanta to Paris this fall. It's a splurge, but it seems worth the extra $$s. When I went to book the tickets on af.com, i was unable to prebook seats. I called the airline and they said that there are no more seats that are not "blocked off" and that they would not open them up to book until the day of the flight.

For the extra $$, I would really like to know that we have 2 seats together and that they aren't middle seats (it's a 2/4/2). Anyone have any experience with getting the blocked off seats or any tricks to being able to get the assignments before the day of the flight?!

thanks for the help!
