Summer 1st class sale; thought I saw that somewhere?

Was I dreaming, fantasizing, or does it exist? Anyone know where I can get the info and/or special reservation codes with the airlines? Because when I just do a regular search on the major airlines, I find high prices.

ORD to LON either 5/15-5/29/08 or 6/5-6/16/08 - haven't decided yet.

Thanks

Try business class. You may find something more aggreable. Business class fares are usually lower during the summer season because of slow business travel.

First class is still first class, no matter what. It's usually only 10-16 seats, limited availibility due to fewer airlines offering first class on TA routes, and the few that do have first class usually have no problem filling the seats, so it's hard to find good deals.

Also, look at premium economy. Virgin, UA and BA.

Virgin, BA and Delta all have sub-$3000 business fares from ORD to London during June; AA is a couple hundred higher.

Those dates are too early for Continental's summer business sale.

Thanks everyone. I have been checking business class. Here's what I found from your suggestions:

United = $4000 plus
Delta = $2700+; good but can't find non-stop
Virgin = $2578+taxes & fees, but must fly from NY; Silverjet is same origin & $2400 + taxes & fees.

Strange that Kayak didn't show these lower fares.

Sooooo, I'm still looking. May end up with Prem.Econ. on Virgin or BMI.

Thanks again everyone.
